Q: So what is Flapper Girl?
A: Flapper Girl is my line of accessories and other fabulous creations. I guess I would describe my style as a little retro, cute, fun, and well-crafted.

Q: Why did you choose the name Flapper Girl?
A: I took the name Flapper Girl for my business because I have always loved the sassy gals of the 1920s, and take inspiration from their fun, sexy photos, in which their rebellious attitude shines right through.

Q: Where can I buy your stuff?
A: A good place to start is my Etsy Shop.

That's where I keep all my goodies that I currently have for sale. In Portland, you can find my line at Seaplane, Frock, Powell's Books, Reading Frenzy, Fresh Pot, Buy Olympia, Tender Loving Empire, Presents of Mind, In Other Words, Back to Eden Bakery & The Herb Shoppe. Currently Needles & Pens in SF, Never Ender in Reno, Bento in Honesdale, PA, Kindred Gifts in Damariscotta, ME and Female Art Collective in Louisville carry my line as well. I also post bulletins about my upcoming shows on Facebook & MySpace, so you can befriend me there if that sort of thing floats your boat. If you'd like to receive emails from me periodically about upcoming shows (as well as new items, sales, etc.), then please sign up for my super fun mailing list. I do not sell or share email addresses. Ever!

Q: Who are you?
A: I've always been a creative person. I love to write, play drums, and sew. Some of you might know me as the drummer for The Jolenes, or co-host of musical podcast show Pure Pod for Now People.
